Mom:  happy birthday, i love you!

Me: Thanks!

Mom: welcome to the downside to 30.

Me: wow, thanks…

Mom:  i was going to write it on your note for this morning, but thought that would be mean, so I thought i would just tell you.

Me: yeah, because that makes it so much better!

Thanks mom for that!
